When you want to regulate the signal flow within a circuit, our RF circulators do the job effortlessly with minimal loss when transmitting an input signal from one port to another. Though RF circulators are unidirectional, they circulate the flow of energy from each port to the adjacent port in a clockwise direction.

An RF isolator is a 2-port device that transmits microwave or radio frequency power in one direction only while blocking the signal in the opposite direction. It is used to protect your RF components from excessive power reflection, such as preventing a microwave source from being detuned by a mismatched load.

When sensitive RF equipment requires protection from reflected signals, our complete range of high-power RF passive ferrite isolators and circulators do the job seamlessly. Our 2-port RF isolators transmit microwave or radio frequency in one direction and block signal in the opposite direction, thereby protecting your sensitive RF components from excessive power reflection. While our 3-port RF circulators circulate the flow of energy from each port to its clockwise adjacent port.

Our highly reliable 2.92mm, SMA or Type-N powered connectorized isolators and SMA or Type-N powered connectorized circulators feature high isolation up to 20 dB, excellent insertion loss as low as 0.35 dB and a maximum forward power handling of up to 1,000 Watts and reverse power handling up to 30 Watts. Depending on the device, our isolators operate between 135 MHz and 40 GHz while the circulators operate between 175 MHz and 26.5 GHz.

Made of rugged metal packaging with coaxial connectors, our full range of high-power RF isolators and circulators, including the SFC0206S, SFC1826, SFC1317N and SFC6996S, offer superior radio-frequency interference (RFI) and magnetic shielding performance. For optimum isolation, insertion loss and VSWR, we also tune our ferrite stripline junction designs. Many of our high-power RF circulators and isolators are also RoHS and REACH compliant.

    Performance Testing

Our RF performance test data lets you know the performance of your high-power RF isolator and circulator’s components and includes input return loss (S11), insertion loss (S21), output return loss (S22) and isolation (S12). Tests are performed with a vector network analyzer and can be delivered in CSV, PNG or S2P file formats. Please specify your preferred file format when requesting RF performance testing.
