Voltage Controlled Oscillators with 0.5" Commercial Surface Mount Package
and Integrated Buffer Amplifier
Fairview’s line of 0.5” commercial packaged voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) that feature an integrated buffer amplifier for increased design flexibility. Nine models are available in select frequency bands from 950 MHz to 5010 MHz. Tuning voltages range from 0.5 to 20 volts and output power ranges from 0 to +8.5 dBm. These VCOs display exceptional phase noise performance as low as -103 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset. The compact 0.5” package has an industry standard mounting footprint. The bottom surface is gold plated making it resistant to oxidation for ease of soldering. All designs meet a series of MIL-STD-202 environmental test conditions, which include shock, vibration, temperature cycle and all models have an operational temperature range covering -40°C to +85°C. Individual datasheets feature detailed typical performance graphs, solder profiles, and have downloadable mounting footprint software available on the product page on our website. Each unit is EAR99, RoHS and REACH compliant.
