We have a vast selection of MMBX connectors and adapters, including in-series and between-series (SubMiniature version A) SMA/SMP adapters, female and male coax connectors, RF board to board and PCB connectors. Thanks to their snap-on tool-free connection method, our adapters and connectors provide versatile and easy PCB-to-PCB and coax-to-PCB connections. For your pick and place circuit board manufacturing applications, our surface-mount and PCB connectors come in an easy ‘tape and reel’ packaging. We also stock bulkhead, panel mount, hermetically sealed, reverse polarity and isolated ground adapters and connectors for all your RF, microwave and millimeter-wave requirements.
Our connectors come with RG316DS, RG188DS, RG178 and RG196 interface types, feature a straight body geometry and a 50 Ohm impedance. Made with gold plated beryllium copper or gold plated brass contacts, they supply Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) as low as 1.06:1 and offer an operating frequency of 12.4 GHz. They also have a mechanical misalignment tolerance of 4.5 degrees (or 0.7mm) maximum.
Thanks to their small circuit footprint, Fairview Microwave MMBX connectors and adapters offer greater flexibility and higher performance for high-density applications, such as backplane and multi-circuit boards, general-purpose testing, and board-to-board including multiple coaxial connections, circuit board test points and blind mate. Available in both male and female types, many of our connectors can also be used for standard or custom cable assemblies.
Whether it is providing an I/O for a board design, or creating a custom cable assembly configuration, we have a connector solution to meet all of your project requirements. Our extensive selection of RF,microwave and millimeter-wave connectors allow designers to easily configure and customize their signal connection whichever they choose.
Our RF adapters, or connector savers, enable connections between two connector types that would normally not mate. Many of our RF adapters can also be used to protect expensive equipment, especially where the number of connect and disconnect cycles is very high. Once they have worn out after high usage, they are easily replaceable also.
All our MMBX connectors and adapters are in stock and available for same-day shipping. We also build custom in-series and between-series cable assemblies to your exact specifications, using flexible coax or formable versions of semi-rigid coaxial cable terminated with MMBX connectors. With low or no minimum order quantities, they are ready to ship at once.
