We offer a large selection of coaxial RF ground-signal (GS) and signal-ground-signal (GSG) configured probes and probe positioner. They provide return loss better than 10 dB and have a maximum operating frequency of 40 GHz. Featuring a 3.5mm or 2.92mm female interface, our RF probes have a pitch of 800 or 1500 micron. All our test probes feature gold-plated contacts.
While Fairview Microwave’s GS and GSG test probes are are designed to be used manually with a coaxial cable assembly, they can also be used with our optional probe positioner for added stability and probe repeatability. Differential measurements are also possible by using pairs of GS probes in tandem with skew matched cable assemblies.
Our RF PCB probe positioner, the FMPB1006, can hold coaxial probes, has articulated joints and delivers multi-axis positioner control. This positioner also boasts a magnetic mounting plate with an on-off positioner switch. Broad ranges of probing angles are possible thanks to our compliant GS or GSG pogo pins.
All our coaxial probes and probe positioner are suitable for use in several microwave components, high-speed communications and networking, including applications such as chip evaluations, s-parameter performance, RF coaxial probing, signal integrity measurements, device characterization, coplanar waveguide, substrate characterization, gigabit Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) and test fixture. They will also help testers cover a wide range of applications, including 28 Gbps data channels.
All our coaxial RF probes and probe positioners are in stock and available for same-day shipping. With low or no minimum order quantities, they are ready to ship at once.
